Nitrous plate systems demand strict bottle pressure discipline to deliver consistent hits without risking engine damage or plumbing failure on the drag strip. Proper pressure management starts at the bottle and flows through every AN connection.
PTFE hose is the proven choice for nitrous lines because it handles the high pressures and chemical demands of the system while resisting degradation from the fuel. Pair it with 37° flare AN fittings sized to meet volume requirements without restriction.
Route lines away from heat sources and moving parts, then secure them to prevent abrasion. Every fitting must match the hose type exactly—never mix AN and JIC threads—to maintain seal integrity under race loads.
Check bottle pressure before each pass and verify the full plumbing circuit for leaks or kinks. Use CPE or PTFE constructions rated for the fluids and temperatures in your setup, confirming compatibility on the manufacturer sheet.
